Following a comprehensive evaluation, an individually tailored rehabilitation program is developed to help relieve pain, restore function, improve mobility, prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities, and to help patients resume their normal activities as quickly and as safely as possible. Our focus is prevention of further injuries through education.
PT Treatments
Treatments include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and many other modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, thermal, and cryo therapy.
PT Equipments and Mobilization Techniques
At the IPT we use a variety of equipments and manual techniques to relieve pain, build strength, improve circulation and increase patients’ mobility.
Restoring joint mobility, by using graded mobilization techniques, which results in the patient’s quicker return to full motion. By performing a Grade I mobilization immediately following surgery, for example, and a Grade IV which is often used to work on range of motion in combination with active motion.
